FERGUS AND A NEW BOOK BY SHEILA M.WEDEGIS

I WAS SICK AND NOW I'M NOT

Our Chocolate Lab Fergus went to the Bridge this past Tuesday after a two month roller coaster bout with a brain tumor.   It came silently and sudden.
I spent nights on an inflatable mattress with him sleeping, then the couch with him on a chaise beside me. He hated the crate and he would walk in a circle til exhausted, or I was.  Now I think, as I did then, what a wonderful gift for me to share that with him.  Hearing him give a huge sigh when he knew he was safe and relaxed then rubbing his head til he slept.

In my grieving I did this simple book.  Please take a peek. Proceeds from the sale, all of it will be going to Animal Medical Clinic in my home Palm Bay. I started the Emergency fund after our Sammy had emergency surgery thinking how many people have emergency's with their pets they can't afford.

Little did I know that I would be the first recipient when Fergus had to spend three days in intensive care. Now my goal is to replace the funds and raise more.
Watch your dog for signs and  have them checked.. Fergus slowed a bit. He was almost 11 so we thought a natural thing like our older Sophie.  He had a slight limp at times and his toe would drag.  He didn't do a sit which he was meticulous at. I made an appointment to see if he had hip dysplaysia or arthritis.

From there it came on like gang busters. .He did look like he was recovering and it hit again.

This book is in his honor.
